Summary
A smart healer starts a temporary job at Hogwarts and meets Severus Snape. They both have a liking of magic potions and are experts in the dark arts. It does not take long until Severus and Leonor share parts of a miserable childhood and expose pieces of a vulnerable self. They fall in love eventually while working together finding a remedy for the Crutiatus Curse, but Voldemort’s return brings no happy end to a secret romance. Severus makes a fateful mistake to keep Leonor safe.

Summary
Harry gets home after the war. He gets to meet his adoptive grandmother (none other than the woman who slept with Voldemort) and see little Corbin, his little brother.
Another important conversation between Severus and Harry takes place as well. After all, now that the Snapes want to make the adoption official, Severus can't keep his dirty secret anymore.
Not a plotty fic, but it's full of family moments between brothers, grandmother and grandchild, and parents and children.
This fic will probably offer some answers to questions you might have had while reading "It's Not That Simple" and give you a high dose of family fluff.

Summary
With the Dark Lord comes whispers, and perhaps the most frightening ones of all are those about Severus Snape. Severus Snape who has made men nothing more than blood and bones in duels, but prefers to make his kills from a distance. He can break minds, shred souls, and just leave you dead.
The Wizarding World roars in triumph when he is captured, but are shocked when he is not imprisoned. Rather than lock away this dark and mysterious power, the Ministry have made the decision to use his capabilities for their own gain. Snape's reputation does not shake. Deprived of company in a world where everybody knows of his crimes, he is thankful to find that at least someone is willing to accept him. But his new relationship will take him into a world of bitter familial entanglements, eerie ummoving portraits, and an ancient curse that has been afflicting the magical world for centuries on end. As Severus attempts to shed his skin, his new circumstances truly test Dumbledore's idea that love is the strongest magic of all.
Or: I was frustrated that nobody properly exploited Snape's potential in canon, and then it turned into a whole idea.
