Summary

Oliver didn't not intend to stay in Starling, but now he fights against those that seek to use his skills for evil and against the ghosts of his own poisoned mind. Island AU starting in Season 1.
I wrote this years ago, and I found some added chapters that I never posted and decided that the world needed to see this cringe.

Slade scoffed at the sight. “You’d think,” he said, “that they’d be more angry at Malcolm Merlyn, not the woman who tried to stop him.”
Shado sighed. “They need someone to blame, and while Merlyn’s in the wind, Moira Queen is right there in Iron Heights.” She looked over at Oliver, who was staring at the grotesque representation of his mother. The hood pulled low over his face hid his expression in shadows. “Are you okay?”
He crossed his arms and shifted his weight uneasily. Under the hood, his eyes flicked from side to side, scanning the area. “We need to get off the street,” he said at last.
She couldn’t argue with that. They’d been out in the open for far too long already.

In which Shado doesn't die but the freighter still sinks and somehow she, Sara, Slade, and Oliver all find themselves at Nanda Parbat until news of a man-made earthquake draws them out to Starling City.

Summary
The war between America and Russia is very cold, yet when an organization of former Nazis obtains the method and means to make an atomic bomb, the two nations are forced to work together to prevent the end of the world, by sending their best agents.
Tommy Merlyn of the CIA and Oliver Queen of the KGB don’t like each other, but they both want to win. Which means keeping Felicity Smoak safe, finding Dr. Noah Teller (her father and the scientist building the bomb) and preventing the bomb from being delivered to the Nazis. Oh, and acquiring Dr. Teller’s research without the other one getting access to it.
While Tommy is focused on obtaining the intel in order to give him leverage to get out of his deal with the CIA, Felicity simply wants to maintain her freedom now that she’s out from behind the Iron Curtain. And Oliver? Well, he’s trying to keep his violent tendencies in check--especially around Felicity.
