Whilst traveling however, Vader discovers Padmé through the force, and the realization that both of his lovers are alive sends him into a deeper, more crazed frenzy to locate them. Despite their existence exposed to the Sithlord, Padmé and Obi-Wan refuse to surrender to Vader-- and will do anything and everything in their power to protect their family.But, choices must be made. And Obi-Wan soon must decide what matters more to him--his life, or Luke's.

Anakin saves Obi-Wan from danger, again. As he's trying to maneuver the escape pod into the atmosphere of the planet below, General Grievous laughs and warns him that they won't survive long with his Stewjoni Master under that condition. Anakin ignores him and successfully manages to get away from The Malevolence and its Separatist fleet by landing (crashing) on the jungle planet, Diskourt, but he can't help but think: What condition is his master in?
He finds out the "Condition" is Obi-Wan entering heat (and he almost dies from it)

It had been two years now since Obi-Wan and his ex-husband split, and the several disastrous relationships he had had since then left him feeling hopeless and desperate. All the Alphas he dated were good for nothing, but they were the only ones willing to be with an omega his age. None of them were worth starting a family with; they were lazy, entitled, and dumb as rocks.
Sick and tired of the abysmal dating pool, Obi-Wan came up with the idea to create the perfect alpha mate for himself, someone he thought was worthy of being the father of his children. Obi-Wan knew what he was planning would be frowned upon by society at large, but he would be damned if he allowed what was likely his last opportunity at starting a family slip away.
