The calls of fire sounded through the Little Palace. Yet, no one seemed to be more worried than a man with curly blonde hair that sped through the halls. His red kefta flowed behind him, black embroidery flowing along the edges of it. The thumping of a hearbeat sounded heavy in his ears. The rush of blood flowing grew pressured in his ears as his shoes thumped against the tile floor of the Little Palace. Smoke hung thick in the halls. His breath was shallow as he coughed through the smoke. He slid to a stop as he grabbed onto the golden door handles of a pair of doors, billowing smoke. The black smoke blasted him in the face. He ran inside, disregarding the burning room around him. He looked up and saw a figures scuffling at the balcony. He dragged himself to the balcony, watching the figures hit the railing. He fell to the ground just as one of the figures fell from the railing with a terrified scream. The last standing figure walked up behind him and grabbed him by the throat. "As your world crumbles down, and you have no one left, I shall be the one to rip the life from you. Like your parents. Serve the same fate. It's your destiny."

Spoilers! Set after the Twins episode(ew) but before Alucard goes off to help the village.
After the death of The Dracula, many, both human and vampire, set out to his castle. Some in search of the throne, others knowledge, and still others purely out of curiosity. As a vampire yourself, it was curiosity that brought you to the looming front door of the hauntingly beautiful castle. After a few hesitant knocks and no answer you decide to let yourself in. Charmed by the incredible structure of the building, you take a journal, hoping to leave some good memory of the man that used to live there. That is until your held at the point of a sword with a familiar face at the end. Believing that Alucard, the supposed son of Dracula was just a myth, you decide to set out on a new conquest, learning his story; and maybe a little bit more of him if you can help it. Sampo Koski is a cat.
Well, not really. But he can become one.
For many years a stray navy blue cat with white spots around his face, tail and feet had been roaming around Belobog, and though his cuteness was something that was greatly adored by the residents, he caused nothing but trouble. He stole food, wallets, keys - anything he could get his little pesky paws on.
Recently, Captain Gepard had been tasked with getting a hold of the stray to find someone to train it and give it a home, but despite his efforts he always managed to slip out of his grasp. The cat reminded him of Sampo in every way possible, but it never crossed his mind who the true identity of this little feline happened to be.
