Summary
They stared at each other for a moment, the tension in the air a pleasant buzzing under Derek’s skin. Derek was kinda… sad, that this remarkable man in front of him was going to walk out that door in a moment, and then he’d never see him again. It was almost enough to make him ask for the guy’s number. Almost.

Summary
"You have some nerve, showing up here."
Cora was standing wedged in the doorway, half her body holding the door in place, and the other half blocking Derek's view of the room beyond. He would never understand how someone so tiny had such a big presence. He sighed and tried to push the door open, to no avail. His little sister was succeeding in keeping him out of the room. Away from Stiles. Who he really needed to talk to, like, right now.
"Cora." Derek whined. "Let me in. I have to see him."
Cora snorted. "It's a bit late for that, Der."

Summary
“I’m fine.” Derek gave the back of Stiles’ neck a friendly squeeze, and settled himself on the previously unoccupied chair at the table. “I’d ask how you are, but I don’t want you to hurt yourself trying to form a sentence.”
“Oh fuck you, dude!” Stiles hated the stupid little adorable creases at the corners of Derek’s eyes. “I was fine before you showed up, looming from the shadows.”
“It’s one thirty in California, in July,” Derek said with an expressionless look, “good luck finding any shadows. Especially one big enough to loom in.”
“Oh my god…” Stiles groaned and dropped his head to the table. “Why did you have to find a sense of humour now? Where was that ten years ago? Do you know how much more approachable you would have been if you’d ever smiled at us, in a non-terrifying way?”
“Yes.”
“You- oh my- wha-” Stiles spluttered and turned his head just enough to glare at Derek. “Oh, you’re an asshole.” -

Summary
Peter looked up to find a vaguely humanoid-shaped lump violently shaking themselves off in his reception area. As he watched, one eyebrow raised slightly, the person - at least he assumed it was a person - began hurriedly stripping off more layers than Peter thought it possible for one being to wear throughout the entire course of winter, let alone all at once, to steadily reveal the frost-bitten cheeks of a young man with brown hair, whisky-coloured eyes, and an arguably very attractive face. All of this was, of course, overshadowed by the sheer volume of sound issuing from that perfectly sensuous mouth.

Summary
Let it never be said that Stiles wasn't able to keep his cool when faced with awkward situations. It'd be right maybe, but it should never be said.
Stiles gasped and spun around, eyes finding Derek immediately. The poor guy looked a bit shell-shocked.
“Oh my god! Dude!” Stiles flailed his arms and lunged forward, tripping a bit and catching himself on Derek’s arms. “You have to fake date me!”
“What?”

Summary
“Derek,” Stiles said, heartbeat ratcheting up in surprise. “You…oh my God, what – are you – Jesus, come here dude!” And really, what else was Derek supposed to do except wrap his free arm around Stiles’ back when he lurched straight into Derek’s body and bury his face in Stiles’ hair?
The embrace lasted two, three seconds. Then Elijah gurgled softly, a surefire sign that he was about to wake up and start wailing.
“Holy shit,” Stiles whispered, pulling back and staring at the baby in Derek’s arms. “What the – what?”
“Hi,” Derek said breathlessly.
“Hi,” Stiles answered, still watching Elijah open his eyes and screw up his face in preparation to give voice to his fury. “You have a baby.”
“Please help,” Derek said desperately. When Elijah started crying, albeit a little quieter than normal, Derek almost joined in.

Summary
Maverick doesn’t regret it when he takes the hit, when the last thing he hears before he ejects is Rooster screaming his name.
But then he wakes. Not to a vast, white snowfield behind enemy lines—but to an inverted cockpit of an F-14.
And to Goose, alive and well in the seat behind him.

Or; the time-travel fix-it in which TG:M Maverick wakes up at the start of TG (1986).

Summary
“No, I mean.” She takes the note, flustered. “Why are you so interested in helping? You don't even know us.”
Stiles swallows heavily, searching for the slender line between a lie and a truth that he doesn't want to speak. “Because I have a soft spot for idiot teenaged werewolves,” he says finally. “It's a character flaw."

Summary
Derek doesn’t want to call the window repair guy. He doesn’t want to sweep up the glass. He’ll inevitably miss a few shards and pull them out of the bottom of his bare feet for weeks.
He doesn’t want to try to make this place feel like home when it isn’t.
Derek stayed in Beacon Hills and tried to make it work because he wanted pack, wanted purpose. He gave his best effort and found himself back where he started: alone, with a few begrudging allies. He’s tired, and even though his werewolf body heals quickly, he feels the weary ache down to his center.
He packs his car with the few things he cares about enough to drag them from place to place. He locks the loft and calls a realtor about listing the building he’d bought in a misguided attempt to secure a future.
And then he leaves.

Stiles knows he could contact him if needed, but they barely keep in touch, and only about mundane things. 4 years later, after a steady stream of supernatural issues they somehow manage to deal with, Lydia is the one to contact Derek when Stiles starts looking worse and worse everyday, with no idea as to how or why.
The Slavic monster draining Stiles' energy points them to a much bigger issue Beacon Hills has been troubled with for years.- Language:
