    She wants to smile at her baby, and tell him that she will be here the entire time. That mama will hold his hand until her little baby needs to let go.

    But she can't utter a word. She stares with her wide, wet eyes babbling incoherently, trying to say anything to her baby boy before he's gone. Inko wants to hold him, but with his injuries it's impossible. She's at a loss for what to do, panicking, thinking how horrible of a mother she would be if her son's last moments consisted of her being a mess. Her baby, like always, understands this. He can sense when things are difficult, because he's such a smart boy.

    So he looks up at her and gives her his brightest smile. As bright as the sun. A stark contrast to the dark and gloomy atmosphere the hospital room has. And he stares at her, like she is his entire world. "Don't cry mama." Her baby says hoarsely. A voice so wrong for a five-year-old to have. "It's okay…" Her son comforts, before breaking off into a fit of coughs. He doesn't let that stop him, her baby is always so determined to see things through. "I-I’m a hero… you said so yourself." Her son continues to smile despite his worsening complexion. "And heroes know how to be brave. So I'm not scared mama."

    After several tries, cornstarch spills, and a dropped ball of ice cream later, the mochi is finished. It sits on one of the Uraraka’s nicer plates, little sakura flowers decorating the edges as the pink and white mochi sits side by side.

    Ochaka stands back, grinning widely and placing her hands on her hips. There’s a smear of cornstarch on one of her cheeks. “We did it!”

    “With minimal casualties!” Himiko cheers, throwing up her own hands in victory. She’d set her cardigan to the side once the cornstarch started flying, but now her t-shirt’s just covered in it, too.

    “Rip Horatio, you will be missed,” Ochako sighs, placing a hand over her heart dramatically.

    “...wait, I thought Horatio was the one character that didn’t die in Hamlet?” The blond asks, her eyebrows furrowing in confusion.

    “Don’t expect me to remember anything from our Western Literature classes.” The deadpan tone makes Himiko giggle. Ochako brightens again, and picks up one of her own white mochi. “Okay- ready to taste?”
