The evening sky is clear, decorated only with the light of the full moon and twinkling stars. Sissel stares up into it for a moment, not sure what he should be looking for until he sees it: a dot of light streaking across the sky, disappearing almost as quickly as it came.

Summary
Back when Yomiel was actually alive– not just pretending to be– he had never owned a pet, and had no real desire for one. Even then, if the thought ever crossed his mind, he had always thought he’d get a dog. All the things he had seen about cats, he had assumed they were unaffectionate and selfish creatures. You took care of their needs, and sometimes they would deign to let you pet them once or twice. With Sissel, he learned quickly enough that wasn’t anywhere near the truth.

Summary
Coricopat and Tantomile’s abilities did not work the way most cats assumed. Their powers were not an exact thing, but an imprecise talent. A talent the twins had learned and cultivated over time into an art that seemed, to the untrained eye, to be a definite. And a talent that Coricopat had come to rely on to navigate the trickier parts of their world.
So it would go without saying that he was kind of thrown for a loop when he suddenly found himself unable to use said ability.

“Does Angel Dust tend to nest in his suite?” Alastor asked without preamble.
“Why’re you askin’ me?” Husk asked gruffly, briefly trying to feign ignorance. A single raised brow from Alastor was all it took to squash that recalcitrance out of him, his shoulders and wings dropping. “Yeah, yeah – fine. But why’re you askin’ me now? It ain’t like Angel’s gonna steal his own shit and pretend like it weren’t him. Besides, he ain’t anywhere close to bein’ in heat. It’s not him, boss.”

Items have been going missing around the hotel. Nothing of any value or consequence - just people's personal effects. Regardless of their importance, Alastor cannot simply stand by and let somebody rob folks in his territory, right under his nose.
He sets out to catch the thief - and picks up a less than useful helper along the way in the form of one miniature monarch - but comes up empty handed. Empty handed, that is, until later that evening.
With his past racing to catch up to him things and quickly spiraling out of his control, he might find that less than useful helper has a use after all.

Summary
Once upon a time, Lucifer was minding his own goddamn business, living a perfectly normal life – one that he was very happy with, thank you very much.
That perfectly normal life – that he was very happy with – was abruptly turned on its head by the arrival of a mysterious fae, calling himself ‘Alastor’.
It turns out that normal life gets a lot harder to manage when you’ve got an almost mythical creature following you around, insisting he’s ‘helping.’ Lucifer isn’t sure how almost getting him arrested is meant to be any kind of help at all – but he has to admit, there is something about this man. Fae. Creature? Something about Alastor.
Something that seems to draw him in, an elusive sense of belonging that he’s never really had. The question is – can he prevent himself from throttling Alastor long enough to figure out what it is?
