Coriolanus made his way down the dusty road a ways before fastening a sling from the silk scarf lining his pack. He kept his head low in hopes of not attracting too much attention on his way back to town. Customers were about as common as those who would denounce him for being a devil for practicing ‘dark magic’ if they heard his offers.
It seemed half the town was gathered in the center when he arrived, surrounding a platform that Coriolanus had had to avoid walking through town before. The sheer energy radiating from it giving him a headache. Echoing wails of so many final dying moments hanging suspended in the space it hurt.
