Tom Riddle discards the idea of making Horcruxes when he realizes there is an easier option: make the Master of Death fall in love with him. Easy right? There are just a few problems. What if Tanjiro was turned into a demon by Muzan on his way back home? What if instead of staying with his (still alive) family, he ran away after they believed him to have died to a Nichirin Sword?
Tamayo and Yushiro find Tanjiro just wandering around, being utterly obvious to his unique nature. Kanae and Shinobu decide to train him. Tanjiro can become stronger by storing sunlight, but the stored sunlight can also be used as a weapon in the form of his Blood Demon Art. Then we meet Onijiro, Tanjiro's apparently still present demon version of himself! Of course, nobody can stay evil while constantly seeing the world through Tanjiro's eyes...
