Flambae learns of Robert’s feelings towards him, which, one way or another, led to both of them having a one-night stand. However, amidst their intimacy and infatuations, a new threat also disturbs the peace of Torrance during Robert’s suspension. Fragments of Robert and Flambae’s past lives resurface in succeeding dispatch calls…and Robert has to decide if he needs to cut himself out as a dispatcher of the Phoenix Program, for the sake of Flambae’s future.

Initially, I wrote this with solely romance in mind and not anything else. However, after drafting Chapter 6…I realized that I’m probably on to something. Imagine a DLC story following the events from Season 1’s Episode 8; that’s where my writing led me. The story ‘wrote itself,’ as the saying goes, where I expound on Flambae and Robert’s dynamic. -
