And maybe it’s because he’s still not fully convinced this is really happening, so on the almost guaranteed chance this is all just a startlingly detailed dream, there’s nothing to lose - or maybe it’s because he’s got to be tripping balls right now and should make the most of it before whatever strange cut has somehow ended up in his system is processed out - but in that moment, his wholly insane definitely bad idea sounds more like the best idea he’s ever had.
He leans closer, elbow rested on the arm of the chair, and says, “I could... show you the rest? For science, ‘course.”
Keiji’s irises flick to the corner of his eyes. “Show?”
Stretching out to relax into his seat, attempting a perfect picture of cool nonchalance while his heart rabbits aggressively in his rib cage, Koutarou shrugs, “I’m more of a hands-on teacher. I dunno if you’ve noticed, but I don’t do words good.”

“So? That means I’ve been missing you for four whole days!” Bokuto says it like it’s an enormous tragedy. As if four days had felt more like four years. “Don’t you miss me?”
Akaashi is glad Bokuto can’t see how his face flushes with embarrassment.
