“Hyunjin is dead,” Jeongin breathed. He looked up to see the others stare back at him with wide eyes, Hyunjin towering over them at the back, the light from the window in the hallway lighting up his figure. “They told me he was dead.”
Hyunjin's dark eyes found Jeongin’s tearful ones.
“Not dead,” Hyunjin said with a poisonous smile. “Just gay.”
Or: Jeongin has spent years mourning the loss of his first love, a love he was told by his church was sinful and wrong, but one he just couldn't stop from blooming in his chest. Now, years later, Jeongin meets Hyunjin again, very alive and also very different from how he used to be back in their shared church.

Summary
Felix’s newfound friendship with a particular Ateez member comes crumbling down when Wooyoung confesses to Felix and asks him out. Only thing was, Felix had never thought himself to like boys and didn’t want to reject Wooyoung without being sure. He spirals into a dilemma and Hyunjin offers a solution to which Felix reluctantly agrees. Except this solution involved kissing Hyunjin to see if Felix liked boys.
But after the rather heated kiss, Felix can’t get Hyunjin out of his head. Figuring that he did like boys after all, he decides to go out with Wooyoung. Only problem was, when they kiss, Felix is dumbfounded that he doesn’t feel the same as he had with Hyunjin.
After all, kissing only ever felt good with someone you were attracted to.

"Never thought I could be jealous of the sun," Hyunjin murmurs and Felix isn't sure he understands what he means.
Hyunjin reaches out his hand then, letting his fingers trail down the length of Felix's nose. He takes a breath before he draws them across his cheek. He trails them back and forth like he's tracing a pattern. Like he's connecting dots and Felix realises that's what he watched him do with the stars.
"You're missing the sunshine," Felix feels compelled to point out. Shadows are growing darker down Hyunjin's neck and a little bit of a chill bites at Felix's nose.
"No, I'm not," Hyunjin says and shakes his head, a grin on his lips, amused by his private joke. "Come swim with me."

The honesty in his tone threw Felix off balance. He’d expected denial, an excuse—anything but that. “Why?” Felix managed after a long pause. “You don’t even know me.”
After a car accident, Hyunjin forgets Felix completely. His family blames Felix for everything —the crash, the memory loss—and legally forces him to stay away. Two years later, they met again in their junior year of college. Felix pretends not to know him, but Hyunjin can’t seem to stay away from the stranger who feels far too familiar.
