Summary
Reuben Li has crushed on star athlete Reyna Ramirez ever since she moved to his elementary school in 2nd grade. So, he can't believe his luck when she initiates a one night stand with him after her jock boyfriend cheats on her.
But then the zombie apocalypse breaks out, leaving pretty much everyone in both their lives dead. To top it all off, Reyna discovers that she's pregnant, and isn't sure if the father is Reuben or her now dead boyfriend's. As the months pass, they must not only work together to not only figure out how to survive a country infested with dangerous undead, but also just what they mean to each other...

Summary
Today, in the middle of the Nebraska sand hills is a motel built to please and appease the tentacle beasts who want to destroy the world. Right after they are done having sex with us.
Isabella Adora, a woman in her late 20s who worked as a file clerk, dreams of leaving the tedium of her life.
When she gets fired from her office job, she comes home to get in a big fight with her boyfriend, Jacob. She packs her bags and attempts to drive home on the other side of the United States. She gets lost Halfway there, nearly running out of gas In the middle of Nebraska. A helpful gas station attendant tells her about the ranch.She decides it beats sleeping in her car and rents a room. While getting something to eat at the motel bar, she has to pee and ends up in a glory hole for non-human life.
She now finds her self on the front line of keeping humanity safe, one encounter at a time. This is her story and the story of all those who stay at The Ranch.
