Bashir and Garak attend a Cardassian-style cocktail party, and Bashir is put on the spot when several guests expect him to produce Terran literary recommendations on demand. Bashir takes it upon himself to rewrite one of his favourite poems, pulling Garak into a rather unconventional revision process.
Poetry, heavy-handed allegory, and sex abound.
