Summary
A RE-WRITE OF ANOTHER WORK OF MINE.
In an alternate timeline not far from our own, the government has enacted laws to place non-violent prisoners into "servitude". Later, a related law was enacted called the Last Resort Act, which allowed the homeless and destitute to be placed into servitude as well. On paper, it's supposed to "reduce overcrowded prisons, or give the homeless an alternative to sleeping on the street."
In practice, it's unchecked slave-labor for the rich.
Permanently injured and becoming a victim of the Last Resort Act, Stephen Strange finds himself at the hands of Justin Hammer, who one day without warning, "gifts" him to Tony Stark and Pepper Potts, who neither approve nor want participation in this practice.
They'd been "gifted" slaves before, and it's always the same- they apply for their freedom, let them stay at Stark Tower to rest and recover, and then they help them integrate back into society.
It was supposed to be the same way with Stephen.
Supposed to be.

Being caught up in her thoughts and conflicted emotions did not alert Pidge to Keith and Lance’s presence in the room until she noticed them at the corner of her vision. She felt her cheeks metaphorically burst into flame as she noticed the cocky, knowing smirk on Lance’s face. Gods, what she wouldn’t give to be able to go over there and wipe it off with her fist.
“Talking to your boyfriend?” Lance teased, earning an elbow in the ribs from Keith.
“Come over here, McClain so I can punch that arrogant smirk off your face,” Pidge growled, whipping around to face the disaster duo, “And maybe yeet you into next week while I’m at it.”
“And how do you plan on doing that, shorty?” the brown-haired young man taunted, “Honey, I am at least a foot taller than you. You’d either need a step stool or to sit on someone’s shoulders in order to do that.”
Keith’s lips twisted into a devious smirk, “Maybe you can ask Hunk. I bet he’d do it for ya'.”
“Next time we’re in a ship, I am so throwing you both out the airlock,” the brown-haired young woman grumbled through her teeth, turning her back on her friends and plopping back in her chair.

Summary
In the large city of the Port, the police department is struggling to keep up with the large number of illegal happenings happening in broad daylight. The Karasuno Detective Unit has been tracking an Omega Trafficking Crime Syndicate for the past eight years but things are quickly spiralling out of their control – a rival gang always seems to get their first. And what are those weird calling cards they leave? Captain Sawamura Daichi wants nothing more than to see these criminals apprehended, but the plot he is uncovering is larger than he can handle.
And that doesn't count the things that happen in the dark.
Sugawara Kyoshi knows there are better ways to go about running a gang, but after successfully dominating every one of the East Side gangs, he knows it's time to rest on their laurels. Then an omega close to him gets kidnapped, and all of a sudden he's more worried about protecting those he's closest to and punishing everyone who hurt his friends. Which may just include destroying crime on the West Side and removing their longstanding rival in the Omega Trafficking Crime Syndicate.
