Rui froze, his latest invention still resting in his hand. He slowly turned around to face no other than the love of his life, Tenma Tsukasa. Usually, he shined as bright as his self-proclaimed title, however, this time, he was dull, gloomy. His usual smile that Rui had come to adore was gone from his face, replaced by a light frown. His eyes weren’t shining, and some of the light in it had gone. Those very eyes were fixated on him now.
Rui cleared his throat as he forced himself to smile his classic feline-like smile. It didn’t really reach his eyes, however. “Tsukasa-kun? Did you say something? I didn’t quite catch that?” He giggled slightly.
Tsukasa sighed as he shook his head, some strands of his blonde hair getting all over his face. “You heard me, Rui.”
