    Summary

    “Why should I hate you?”

Her question lacked the innocence a child should have. In fact, the way she spoke very maturely only brought a stab of guilt into his heart. She shouldn’t have to ask that question. She shouldn’t have to feel like she was undeserving of love. And yet, she was asking why she should hate him? After all the ways he had failed her?

“Because I’m a monster,” he replied.

The girl got up from the sand in response. Closing the distance, she walked until she was in front of him. The moon poured its silver light onto her, making her glow in an ethereal way like his Penelope. She knelt on her knees and looked up at him. Her eyes shone with a strong resolve.

    “You’re not a monster. You’re my father.”

    Summary

Odysseus is a woman, she spent ten years pretending to be a man for the war, and another ten trying to get back home to her wife. Everyone she's ever loved (and hated) will now know what's taken her so long to return to Ithaca.

She spent so long pretending she was a man that she still referes to herself as a man
Her eye colour changing is a thing so the colour will be mentioned a lot like an odd amount

This is NOT accurate to actual lore!!!

    Summary

Gods couldn’t die. The words repeated themselves in Ares's head.

And yet, his sister lay unmoving on the floor of the main throne room, his father’s lightning still sparking violently through her body. His family stood by his side, but no one dared say the question aloud. So he made the choice to say what all in attendance thought.

    “...is she dead?”

    - - - - - - - - -

This is a literary retelling of EPIC from Love in Paradise and beyond. If this picks up and gets some traction, I may also continue with the Vengeance Saga and the Ithaca Saga as well. And possibly beyond.

This will be from the perspective of the gods - occasionally, there may or may not be a mortal point of view in certain cases, but mostly it’s focusing on the Greek pantheon’s perspective.

    Summary

Morpheus, the God of Dreams, takes pity on the King and Queen of Ithaca. Odysseus’s return is many years away, yet his and Penelope’s minds find each other in sleep. It’s both a blessing and a curse, and sometimes all that keeps them going.

Queen Penelope stepped into the dream as easily as crossing a threshold, and with her came the sun, as if Helios's carriage rode atop her billowing black hair. The carnage vanished in her presence, the ground no longer a battlefield but a sloping grassy hill dotted with olive trees. Her bright blue eyes almost glowed, searching the hillside with clear intent.

The King of Ithaca stood, gazing at her as if she were a vision of Aphrodite herself. The blood streaking his face and staining his hands evaporated in the wake of her sunlight, the dead bundle in his arms vanishing with it.

Morpheus stared as well, unable to believe that she stood before them. It was no shaped dream becoming a nightmare, no conjuration of the King’s mind to protect himself. It was her, slipping into his dream as if it were a room in their home. Answering her husband’s desperate cries.

    Summary

Calypso’s face softened, she tried to mirror his crooked smile. “Oh, well.” Red bloomed in her round face. “I am not jesting. I am pregnant with our child, Love.”

    “Kill it.”

    She stilled. “What?”

Odysseus was still grinning at her, the tears in his eyes made his gaze gleam like stars. “Kill it. Or should I do the deed?” His eyes widened as he nodded to himself. “I have killed a babe before. Hector’s lambkin. I shall do it again.” His chest was heaving with ragged breaths.

    Summary

Based off of THIS headcannon on Tumblr
    @toxic-potions-productions
So, we all know Ody's crew got fried at the end of Thunder Bringer, right? That obviously includes Eurylochus
But, that got me thinking of something. How would the rest of the story play out if somehow, someway, Eurylochus survived?

Would he be trying to find a way to help Ody off Caly's island when Wisdom starts up? Would he be trapped there with Ody? Or would it just be really awkward around each other cuz of the things we all know Eury's done? Considering how it was a silent agreement in this fandom that Eury feels bad for what he's done & Ody still cares for his brother-in-law, it would probably be kinda awkward but great knowing he's okay. Even though the rest of his crew isn't, just his second in command

But, when you think about it, at least Ctimene will be happy to see her husband come home after so long.
Just to clarify, credits to the idea belong to @toxic-potions-productions on Tumblr, I am not @toxic-potions-productions.

    Summary

Eurylochus’ face looms over him as he looks up, trying to push himself from the ground. His brother-in-law’s expression is one he’s seen many times before; he has just never been on the receiving end of it.

Odysseus’ body seems too heavy for him to even stand, every time he tries to move, he is met with all-consuming pain and his lungs feel ready to collapse. He tries to speak, to plead, but all that comes out of his throat is a pathetic croak.

“You are a twisted man, Odysseus. We were all just too trusting to see it.” Eurylochus’ words are sharp and biting, but they are true.

Odysseus is twisted. He is sick and evil. He is a monster.

”You will go down in history just the same as Hector. Your legacy will be one of selfishness and cruelty. The people will know you as a liar and a whore. It is all you will ever be.” Eurylochus raises a foot and brings it down hard on Odysseus’ chest.

He gasps and coughs, but somehow finds his voice, “They will not know you.”

Eurylochus shouts as he raises his sword, and the last thing Odysseus sees is the blade headed for his jugular.

I wrote this because I wanted more Hermes. Basically an extended version of Hermes and Ody's trip back to Ithaca, with monster fights and therapy and all that jazz. I threw Artemis in there, too. Plus, some godly drama and Ody settling back in :)

Ogygia was a birdcage, and Odysseus and Astyanax were the song birds taken from nature, made to do nothing but supply serotonin to their capture. Playing violin to the flowers in the field, wind in his hair, able to roam and explore the island however he pleased, any other child would think themselves the luckiest kid in the world.

    But Astyanax knew better.

    Summary

After centuries of living on a remote island of her own choice, Calypso, the daughter of Atlas, chose to join the Amazons, hoping to experience the thrill of battle she hasn't tasted since the Titanomachy. However, when the Amazons sail to Troy to aid its people in their fight against the Greeks, she also has one other perverse desire— a war prize, a captive man to call her own, to obey her every whim and indulge her ever pleasure.
