Recovered from a house in London, letters to Eloise is a collection of letters written in 1823 by a woman named Lady Amelia Hamilton who was famously hanged in 1824 after reportedly killing her husband, Lord Alfred Hamilton.
The letters are addressed to a mysterious woman named Eloise, but her full name and
true identity remain unknown. It is unclear if she actually existed as the letters were never sent.
