Okay. So this was a time loop. On the absolute worst day of their lives. This couldn’t have happened on the day Lou Mike Tony's gave them free extra pizza?
“Mikey, you okay?”
He turned to see Leo lying on the Staten Island lot between Raph and Donnie, just like before. But unlike before, Leo’s eyes didn’t drift to his surroundings. They caught Mikey’s face and stayed there. He looked…horrified.
Mikey felt a drop roll down his cheek, leaving warmth trailing behind. He reached up to wipe it away. It stung. Mikey turned his palm to see it smeared with blood.
"Just a scratch.” Mikey caught his reflection and winced. And he’d thought Raph’s eye looked bad... But the sting merely highlighted a realization.
This didn’t happen last time.
As he glanced back toward Leo, who curled up with jagged breaths and eyes pinched shut, a determination settled in Mikey. Just like how they changed things for Casey’s timeline, the events of these time loops weren’t set in stone.
And Mikey was going to do whatever it takes to save his brother’s life.

Summary
When Leo left the Prison Dimension, he left his ability to portal with it. He’d tried nonstop for two months, but the whole ordeal gets a little more complicated when one arm is broken, and its matching katana is floating around with Krang Prime somewhere. And then one day, without prompting, he does it. Somehow, this is not a good thing.
Typically, when you escape a dimension and blowtorch your only way back in, you assume that’s the last of you’ll see of it. So just imagine how it feels visiting it five times in one night.

Summary
Leo struggled to catch Mike’s face as he moved around the kitchen. Mikey didn’t move this much when he was talking to his brothers, normally. But today, the ploy was obvious, and Leo had to give up trying to face him while talking.
“Dude?” Mikey started, finally looking right at him, “is something wrong?”
Leo glared at his brother, “no.” He bit out, hating himself for falling right into his brother’s trap.
“Hm, that’s interesting.” He turned around, the fucker, and kept talking while facing his pot. “I could—and ma—only if—Donnie—” the words broke around each other, giving Leo nothing to work off of except Donnie and a possible ultimatum? He wasn’t sure, and Mikey knew it. He looked over his shoulder, a smug grin barely hidden on his face, “You not gunna answer me, man?”

Leo starts to lose his hearing and decides his brother's don't have to know, that goes about as well as expected.

When Ling Jiushi dreams, it is of grit in his mouth, smoke in his lungs, shrieking sirens fit to burst his skull. He is pressed down by concrete, the metal grating beneath him cutting patterns into his face and chest. It is a dream, and so not quite a memory, but it is still the last time he remembers having his original limbs. He wishes it were a moment less harrowing. He hardly recalls what it used to feel like to run without prosthetic joins catching, to light a cigarette with fingers that do exactly what his brain tells them the first time it tells them.
When Ling Jiushi dreams, he is the only man in the world, and that world is dark and crushing. When he is awake, he supposes it is something similar.
