Summary
Liminal space is a place of transition, a threshold between two points, signaling the end of one time or space, and the beginning of another. These spaces exist in the real world as physical locations, but are also present in our cognition and psychological experience, often related to major life changes and periods of uncertainty.
Ei prefers these fluorescent-buzzing corridors. They listen to her heartbeat and let her stay stagnant without begrudging and urging her to move on, move forward already.She may not be able to see her sister again but perhaps in this empty void that disconnects from reality, her sister might be behind her, hidden from sight by one of these many corners.
(She’s not, she can’t be but that doesn’t stop Ei from hoping anyway.)

She was just standing there, right by the doorway, looking as ravishing as Yae remembered, staring right at her with a slight grin on her lips and a rather amused look all over her face — almost as if she was about to burst out laughing. “Are you.. uh.. I mean..”, although hesitant to ask at first, her curiosity was what won in the end. “Were you.. masturbating just now?”

The dream, although sweet at first, quickly turns into a nightmare which causes Ei to scream, very loudly, in her sleep and wake up in tears, covered in her own cold sweat, in the middle of the night.

Sheer beauty knocked her breath out of her lungs, Eula’s eyes widening slightly at the sight. Flowing soft pink hair trailed down from her head, until it swayed around her upper thighs. Realizing where she was looking, Eula snapped her head up but that only brought her attention to the antlers, growing, angling down from the side of the head. Ivory-like and yet darkening slightly at the ends as if shined down so much from the sun. Then her eyes went towards the eyes… and that was where Eula both wanted to throw her heart away, as well as keeping it from the feeling bubbling up within her.
Those glimmering green eyes were so beautiful Eula wished she could drown within them, and yet… There was something missing in those eyes. A cavern, empty and yet it had to be filled once in the past.
