Summary
This work arose from two mirrored one-shots I wrote on Tumblr, one from Rey's perspective, and one from Kylo/Ben's. Then I started getting feedback, and now it's become a full-fledged fic.
Several months have passed since the Battle of Crait, and Rey of Jakku and Supreme Leader Kylo Ren have continued to haunt each other, appearing at random to each other throughout their days and nights. But the connection is unstable, and longing and loneliness start to overwhelm other concerns.

“Bow before Supreme Leader.” Hux's cold voice filled the air.The hair on the back of Rey's neck stood up and she walked in front of Ben. He kept his face neutral. She knew this was important to solidify her place in the First Order, hopefully without any lingering questions of her loyalty. She took a knee before Ben.
“Do you swear your undying loyalty to Supreme Leader?” Hux peered down his nose at her figure knelt on the floor.
“I swear my undying loyalty to Supreme Leader Kylo Ren.”

Summary
Set just under twelve months after Episode VIII, Supreme Leader Kylo Ren is mentally unstable and being exploited as a mercenary/assassin for General Hux, while Hux assumes leadership of the First Order - in practice, if not in title. Kylo discovers that the Knights of Ren are plotting to murder and usurp him as Supreme Leader, so makes it his mission to slaughter them all. His one lifeline through his miserable existence is Rey, whom he watches sleeping through their enduring Force bond, unbeknownst to her.
When he is forced to betray the First Order to save her life, Kylo finally summons the courage to reconnect with Rey and finds a new purpose; motivation to properly embrace his leadership and set right the wrongs of the past. But as their passion for each other and his power in the dark side grow, Rey must face the ramifications of fraternizing with the enemy and decide - can she truly love a monster?

Not willing to risk fights for power in future generations, the senate tells Kylo, "Find a wife, produce an heir, build a dynasty, gain an empire." But how to find a wife that doesn't have previous political alliances or future machinations? Marry a nobody, of course.

Summary
Ben Solo never had any use for the 'Little Scavenger' that his parents found in Jakku and brought home with them to be his sister. He left shortly after her arrival to train with Luke, then never came back. Kylo Ren, however, has been ordered by Snoke to find Rey, take her to Exegol to meet Palpatine and have him marry the two of them. But he finds that Rey is more of a handful then anticipated, since she's been living a double life of being the daughter of Han Solo and Princess Leia AND the Padawan of Anakin Skywalker, during the Clone Wars. Kylo will find that keeping her in their own time, turning her to the dark side and squelching her crush on Anakin, will be more difficult than he imagined.
