“How is your arm, Captain?” Kenobi asks again. Rex wonders why the General is so concerned. It really is just a scratch. He’s had worse on the training grounds. Kark, he had worse last week with those karking mastiff phalones. He can’t quite hide the shiver that runs through him, teeth clacking together. Suddenly, he can’t seem to stop trembling. Violent shivers tremor through his muscles. He can feel sweat trail down his temple even though he’s sure he’s never felt this cold in his life.
What is going on with him?
In which some of the Talz poison their spears, and Rex’s “scratch” turns out to be a “problem”
Or, Rex has really been carrying the team up until this point—now it’s time for someone to carry him. Literally.
Or, regret is a powerful motivator. When faced with the very real possibility of Rex dying, Anakin realizes just how much he has taken the Captain for granted.

Summary
Cody watches the scene in horror. His vod’ika’s hand holding the pistol is trembling. He watches Rex’s internal battle, not knowing which side is going to win. What brought you to this point, Rex?
“I have to do this,” Rex says aloud, the internal battle becoming external.
“You can't do it, can you?” Krell continues to mock. “Eventually, you'll have to do-,” a weapon discharges, Krell slumps, “-the right thing”.
Rex whirls around, surprised. The rest of the men in the room look similarly confused, a shiny looking down at the blaster he was in the middle of removing from Fives' holster, before chaos erupts.
Something dinks off of a metal surface somewhere in the room and the feed starts to cloud up. Blaster fire lights up the smoke filling the room, but the smoke can't hide the sight of a Commando droid stalking past the camera. Cody can hear coughing and several names being shouted. The feed then fizzles out, indicative of an EMP being used.
Cody, his General, and his vode stand there in stunned silence.

Summary
Clone Marshal Commander Cody, Commander of the 7th Sky Corps and the renowned 212th Attack Battalion was not a fool. He wasn’t stupid enough not to notice when he was injured, nor was he unaware of the extent of his injuries. He was a big believer in getting help–especially of the medical variety–when needed.
But that did not stop Cody from having a to-do list that would span from Kamino to Mandalore to get through with relative speed. It did not stop his need to ensure that the medics had enough help and could save the brothers who were worse off.
No, he would seek their medics out soon–the pain in his side would force him onto an exam table whether he liked it or not–but right now there were more pressing things for him to worry about.

Charles’ life is governed by his addictions. For so many years, he used drugs and alcohol to numb the pain, the sadness, and the voices, voices that would scream day and night, day and night, so loudly that their pain became his own. So when a situation forces him to confront old demons from years past, naturally, his body and mind react accordingly.
Logan knows Charles. The strong, confident man who guided him to know his own value and find a life worth living. But Logan doesn’t know THIS Charles. The Charles he knows is powerful and coolheaded, the kind of guy to take everything in stride. Which is why this Charles having a full-fledged panic attack in the middle of the Cerebro hallway feels so WRONG.
