Vi sat down beside her while she read her book of flowers, then said, “I think if you were a flower, you would be a sunflower. Apparently, they always bloom in the direction of the sun.”
“I think you’d be a snapdragon.” Caitlyn said softly. “They can be pink, like your hair. They need a lot of sun to survive though.”
“Like I said, I’ve got all the sun I need right here.” Vi said, resting her head on top of Caitlyn’s.

The vulnerable expression on Rumi's face, like a puppy that had just been kicked in the middle of the street, made Mira's frown melt away and she sighed, looking away and sitting down on the bed next to her friend. "Sorry, I sound nuts."
"No, you... You're right, Mira."

As Rumi goes over the lyrics of Takedown and Mira then confronts her, the half-demon decides to stop being afraid for once. This time, the conversation develops differently.
