Summary
Every three years when the blood moon comes around, in order to keep it appeased and to keep it from killing, the town must sacrifice the fairest young man or woman to a vampire that has been haunting them for centuries. Sent to where the vampire lives on the edge of town in an old, ancient manor, those who go through the front doors are never seen or heard from again.
This year, it's Park Jimin's turn.
But is the vampire more than he seems? And are there much more mysterious forces at work? Forces that could either bring Jimin and Yoongi together or tear them apart forever?

Tonight, Jimin returned to the safety of the city too late. The gate is bolted, massive and ungiving. Just like the city wall, circling the entire town to protect its inhabitants. Protecting people like Jimin. Prey.
Outside is where the predator hybrids live. Spending the night outside, Jimin’s life will most probably find an ugly and way too early end. Because nighttime was reserved for their primal instincts. Hunt and claim. Trap and fuck. Bite and kill.
Jimin didn’t count on meeting Jungkook though.

Summary
Jimin is a brownie. There's a lot that comes with the job description-- fixing clothes, keeping the household up and running, tending cattle. And all that would be fine and dandy, if only Jimin liked his work. (He doesn't.)
Jeongguk is a Nightmare. Literally and figuratively. When Jimin loses his job and gets reassigned to keep Jeongguk's manor running, Jimin isn't afraid in the slightest.
It doesn't matter that Jeongguk's rumored to be eccentric, brash, and cold because Jimin has a job to do, and then he'll be onto the next mind-numbing assignment. It's going to be fine.
And then Jimin actually meets him. The reality is so much worse.

THE BUSAN BUTCHER STRIKES AGAIN
“You moved from Busan just in time, Jungkookie,” Hobi assures, gaze drifting over to the youngest. “Since that serial killer guy is on the loose there.”
“Serial killer? My mom hasn't mentioned anything about that.” Jimin swishes around the soju in his glass.
“Yeah, five bodies in the last year. All of them decapitated. They gave him a catchy English name… The uh, Busan Badguy? The Busan…”
“The Busan Butcher” comes Jungkook’s steely correction, his long fingers gripping the liquor bottle in his hands exceptionally tight.
Jimin can't help but remember the night he saw those fingers coated in blood. His gaze wanders up to Jungkook’s face and the younger stares right back, eyes like tar.
Jimin is playing with a fire he doesn't know how to put out.
