Zayne’s breathing visibly halts. He stares, face blank. Thinking about what to do. What to say. What would make Caleb not want to throw up a fuss at him, again?
In the end, he just settles with bringing his fingers up to Caleb’s ear, lightly scratching behind it and witnessing the way the feline almost instantly melts into his touch. He silently smiles.
“If I can easily make you quiet,” Zayne murmurs, letting his other hand travel to Caleb’s behind, “just like this,” catching on his tail and pulling it upwards, garnering a reaction out of the younger, “then I think you’ll never be too much for me.”
Kitty leopard Caleb just really likes to push wolfy Zayne's buttons. A lot.
