“Hellooo? I said Houston, do you copy?”
Caitlyn fiddled with her headset, having finally found the green button on the side and hastily letting out a rather breathless reply. “Um, yes. Hello? This is Houston. I copy.”
There was a long pause in which Caitlyn sat twiddling her thumbs, anxiety pushing the frantic pulse of her heartbeat through her eardrums. Was that wrong? Did she already fuck up? She took a steady deep breath, finger hovering over the talk button until the familiar voice of the astronaut came through her headset once more.
“Damn, Houston. I didn’t expect you to sound so sexy.”
OR
Caitlyn has been assigned as the personal capcom to one of the astronauts currently on a year long expedition at the international space station. Cue long months of pining and desperate longing.

Vi rolled her eyes as Caitlyn followed her into the bathroom, whirling on her the second the door closed.
“What the fuck is your deal? Thought it might be fun to slum it for the night with the gutter trash who rescued you out there? You’re welcome, by the way.”
“No, I–” Caitlyn made a noise of frustration, face scrunching up, and then she was really fuckin’ close.
Vi held her breath, not wanting to break the weird fucking moment.
“You’re infuriating,” Caitlyn breathed, and Vi tried - and failed - not to shiver when warm breath ghosted over her lips.
“Yeah, well–” Vi started to snark back…and then Vi’s night was officially the weirdest she’d had in a while, because Caitlyn Kiramman, conservative politician’s daughter, was kissing her like she was fucking starving and Vi was an all-you-can-eat buffet in the desert.

Vi notices that Caitlyn’s knee is touching hers now, that both of her long legs have snaked their way under her body and she’s sitting on her heels. This position gives her a little more height over Vi, not that she needed it before, and it’s giving Vi an amazing view of Caitlyn’s top half. Vi closes her eyes again so as not to stare. She will not allow herself to ruin this sentimental moment with how turned on she is.

Vi looks at the big clock on the far wall. 7:46AM. She’s one minute late today. Every morning for the past six months - well, every morning Vi’s been on shift, so she’s just assuming about the other days - she’s passed by at exactly 7:45AM, always at a brisk walk, always in a perfectly-tailored suit, not a single long, silky-looking hair out of place.
7:47AM. The crisp clack of heeled boots on concrete pulls Vi out of her musings. There must have been some sort of emergency, because the subject of Vi’s (minor) obsession walks past the fire station at a faster clip than normal. Which is sort of saying something, because Mystery Woman’s got legs for days, long and slender, visibly toned with long, lean muscle through her suit pants. At the faster clip, Vi has less time to admire her ass and tiny, tiny waist as she walks by, but that’s fine, because the view as she leaves is fantastic.

Summary
It wasn’t just Caitlyn’s movements that got to her; it was the way she moved. It felt intentional, like Caitlyn knew exactly what she was doing. It was all too much, and it took every ounce of self-control Vi had not to jump up, pin Caitlyn against the wall, and make her forget all about the photographers, dinners and the living room altogether.
“You’ve been messing with me all day,” she said, her voice rough and low, like a growl. “You think I wouldn’t notice?”
“Oh, I noticed you noticing,” she replied, her voice soft but steady “It was kind of hard to miss, the way you were looking at me.”

Vi wakes up needy, but Caitlyn keeps her waiting all day, teasing her at every chance. When Caitlyn finally gives in, Vi's patience snaps, and she takes control in the roughest way possible, leaving no room for restraint.

No sentencing. No crime to speak of.”
