Summary
To all that witness the meeting between Rooster and Daphne it was like throwing jet fuel into an inferno. Rooster finds her to be an abrasive bitch, while she finds him to be a skirt-chasing asshole. For the benefit of the group's dynamics, Daphne tries her best to tolerate Rooster's presence, while he tries to ignore hers. Everyone can predict the course of where this is going, except these two dummies. Daphne has no patience for his stubbornness and Rooster can't understand standoffishness.
When Daphne learns that all the people, she has come to call her family are being sent out with no guarantees that any of them would make it back. Everything she knew about them and even Rooster will change.
(First few chapters will be about meeting the crew. Will then pick up once it leads into Top Gun: Maverick)
