Summary
Aziraphale Fell has been working at Heaven's Gate for the better part of twenty years as an assessor of orphanages for children with magical abilities. His life in London is fine, mostly. He has a house, and a cat, and that should be enough.
When he receives a strange assignment that has him bound for a month-long stay on a remote Scottish island, however, he begins to realise that everything may not be as it seems.
(Note: this is an AU set in the world of TJ Klune's The House in the Cerulean Sea, and while I recommend that you read it, it's not necessary to do so to understand the plot of this fic!)

HUMAN AU
Aziraphale Fell is a well-known archaeologist and author of successful historical works. Anthony Crowley is a former professional boxer who in recent years has dedicated himself to writing crime novels and noir stories, revolutionizing the genre. Both publish for the publishing house Alpha Centauri, at the top of which there are Gabriele Angeli and Bella Zebu. She proposes a collaboration between the two authors, to help Fell overcome his first writer’s block. This story takes place in Italy, so the names are almost all Italianate.
I'm not a native English writer or speaker (I'm italian), so I apologize in advance if there will be errors or oddities :)Enjoy your reading 😁

Summary
Aziraphale has read every book in his shop at least once. He has reread some of his favored volumes dozens of times, has memorized whole great swaths of them. If his own words are insufficient to convince Crowley of his sincerity, then perhaps the words of others can!
(He might have the decency to ask the books what they thought of this plan. The books had been watching the two of them for over a hundred years, and certainly had a great deal to say on the matter. But Aziraphale neglects to consult them, and thus will be very unprepared for what happens next.)
Back on earth, Aziraphale tries to apologize.

Summary
Anthony J. Crowley isn’t up to much these days.
In fact, you could almost say his days as a rockstar are pretty much behind him. Rotting in bed all day, with half-written songs plaguing him and no lyrics to speak of, everything points to his career being over for good.
That is until Maggie, his manager, claims to have found him the perfect lyricist to get him out of his slump. And what better way to get the creative juices flowing than spending a whole month together in a secluded cottage on the Isle of Skye?
Provided Crowley’s attempts at making the man run for the hills aren’t successful…*
“You wrote these lyrics,” Crowley repeated just to make sure he’d understood correctly. “The lyrics about sucking dick. You wrote them.”
The stranger wrinkled his nose, a blush appearing on his rounded cheeks. “Well, it’s actually meant to be an exploration of taste and touch as a way to connect with another person, as well as a metaphor for–”
“Sucking dick,” Crowley completed for him.
“Mmh,” the man hummed noncommittally, lips pursed in both annoyance and embarrassment.- Language:

Summary
The months since Armageddidn’t have been near perfect… until Crowley accidentally tells Aziraphale that he loves him, panics, and runs away to live the rest of his days as a snake in the Amazon, where a group of documentary filmers stumble upon him. To (unsuccessfully) distract himself from his broken heart, he does what he does best: sowing seeds of chaos.
Meanwhile, Aziraphale would really appreciate if Crowley would just call him back so they can do this whole love confession thing properly.
