Shachi glanced around furtively and leaned closer to Law as he said conspiratorially, "Kid and Killer fuck people together, including men occasionally, but they don't let anyone fuck them so they feel like they aren't queer-"
Law blinked, feeling his eye twitch at the stupidity as he interjected, "That's moronic."
"It's Eustass Kid-" Shachi reminded him, rolling his eyes.

Killer scoffed dismissively behind the mask, not looking back toward Law as he grunted, "Kid and I don't kiss."
"Yeah, I know." Law's palm settled high on Killer's thigh and the muscle jumped lightly under his palm as he growled, "That's why it's gonna be so fucking hot when you do."
Killer watched him incredulously for a beat, tone teasing but friendly as he joked, "Anyone ever tell you you're a cocky shit before?"
"Nah, people usually just tell me I'm right," Law snarked and Killer snorted, shaking his head.
AKA The one where Law hits Kid and Killer in the face with the obvious truth that they are definitely not straight and should already be fucking by convincing them to fuck him together.

Summary
Law goes to Udon to retrieve Luffy. He's not sure what he expected to find, but it was absolutely not Eustass Kid eyeing an oblivious Luffy like a particularly juicy steak. Luffy says he thinks he's just attracted to strong people and Law has no problem that he's apparently not been perceived as strong enough to bother banging in his time on the Sunny. Really. No problem at all. He's fine. Shut up.
["Why do you sound so excited Straw Hat?" Law snapped, mouth twisting darkly as he scowled at the bars to the cell. "Is that really your type?"
"My type?" Luffy repeated, clearly at a loss. "Type of what?"
"He's asking if I'm the type of person you like to fuck-" Kid drawled, voice deeply amused and crackling with intent.
"Oh! Well, I guess, sorta?" Luffy's fingers tapped at his chin as he considered the question, shrugging after a moment. "I dunno, I think I just like strong people?"
Law and Kid stared at him silently for a moment before their eyes snapped to each other. Kid let out a howl of laughter as Law flushed and glared, a flood of different feelings twitching across his face before settling into a mortified bitter scowl of resigned insecurity that he directed at the floor.]

Sanji looks at Luffy and Luffy stares back with a cool, displeased expression, lips curling downwards and eyes narrowed. Then he shakes his head slightly and he sees Zoro smile predatorily over Luffy’s shoulder. Fuck.
He did something wrong.
“Luffy…”
“Not now,” Luffy interrupts, turning back and heading out of the bar.
He swallows around the knot in his throat and dips his head, pulse fluttering anxiously as he follows behind, not sure of what he’s in for once they get back to the Sunny.

Sanji nearly flinches when a hand plops itself comfortably on his head, petting his hair like he’s a beloved family dog. “Good, good, Sanji! You’re smart bringing food.”
Sanji blinks a few times before turning to look up at Luffy who’s beaming down, eyes curved shut and grin wide, hand still petting him.
His brain feels like it’s malfunctioning, cotton stuffed inside of it and making it hard to think. Good. Good job. Good. Those words cycle around in his mind on repeat.
Then Luffy lets go of him, reaching past him to grab up the stack of lunches and turns, cheering for Usopp or that shit swordsman to go join him, but it sounds muffled and far away under the litany of good good good. His captain thinks he’s good.

To a hint of amusement and endearment, to a little tease of a smile. He brushes his thumb underneath them, gathering his tears away like he might be able to erase all the hurt stored in them if he just tried and cared and loved hard enough.
“You don’t need to.” Jayce tells him. “I meant it all. The idea of perfection is a paradox. No one was ever going to achieve it, and maybe that’s… Viktor, I think that’s the beauty of life. It’s what makes us people. The things we can’t change, the things that people love us for anyway. Perfection is a lie. But if anyone ever came close,” Viktor’s hand settles on top of his—the mutation of flesh and metal is warm against his skin, still tingling with ambient magic and energy in a way that sends goosebumps crawling up his arm. “it was you.”

To put it mildly, Jayce was his magnum opus—not only were each of his mouth-watering muscles perfectly accentuated by the cut of the rope, but Viktor was entranced by the craftsmanship; the way form and function blended seamlessly to create a moving, breathing sculpture. Physics and artistry.

The wooden wick crackled as the unburned portion was exposed, the honey colored flames dancing as a thin string of wax trickled over the edge. Viktor sneered as he traversed the small space to his personal desk, keeping the grin half-obscured from Jayce’s view as he reached for his own leather-bound journal where it was laid right next to Jayce’s. The plain and unremarkable facade blended in perfectly with the rest of his collection of note-taking journals, but this particular one held no ordinary research.
“Nooooo,” he drawled, voice dripping sarcasm, even to his own ears. He reached for his quill, dipping it once in the inkwell before scratching a quick Trial 36 at the top of the page. “What makes you say such a thing?”
Jayce was quiet for a moment, aside from the panting. The creak of the headboard could be heard briefly as he rearranged his bound hands.
