“It’s not something we’ve discussed too much,” Shane admits reluctantly. “I mean, I think we talked about it once or twice, after being around Hayden’s kids. But…I was afraid…I don’t know if you want…” His sentence falters and he presses a hand to his stomach, inhaling slowly like he’s trying to soothe more nausea.
It takes Ilya’s brain a few moments to process, to catch up, to piece together this half-filled puzzle Shane’s laying out for him.
“We talked about having babies,” Ilya supplies, arching an eyebrow, “are you trying to say we are…having a baby?”
Shane sucks in another slow, controlled breath. “Um, yeah. That’s what I’m trying to say.”
“You are pregnant?”
Wincing, the shorter man nods. “Mhm.”

Summary
After an emotional break up with Alpha!Harry, Omega!Peter is determined to find his own way in the world.
A heat that comes on too quickly lands him at Weasel's bar, the domain of one very Alpha Wade Wilson, who takes one look at Peter and knows they they are meant to be mates.
Wade doesn't think Peter wants to be matched with an Alpha at all, much less an Alpha that looks like him, so he keeps things platonic, ignoring his feelings so Peter feels safe.
Peter wants more from the Alpha than just a text messages and hilarious-but-inappropriate jokes and over drinks one night, he asks Wade to share his next heat.

“Oh you mean because of the old avocado hate f*cking another avocado thing?” Weasel pointed to Wades face. “Don’t sweat it, I hear millennials love avocados. He should be fine.”

“I wanna go soarin' with you, Tony." Bucky undid the messy bun on his head, let his hair fall wild over his shoulders, mingling with the coal black of his feathers. “And I’m pretty sure you wanna come soarin’ with me too. So let’s do this.”
“But you deserve a mate who can fly.” Tony closed his eyes. “And I can't anymore. My wings don't work. Not since after Afghanistan."
“I know.” Bucky smoothed his thumb at Tony's bottom lip. "But you don’t hafta be strong enough to fly by yourself, babydoll. I’m strong enough to fly us together. Strong enough to hold you in the wind. Do you trust me?"
