“Can I give you that kiss now? Free of charge.” Felix still sounds like he just got bowled over by a steam engine, but he couldn't be bothered to suck in a steadying breath.
Chan’s rosy lips quirked up at the corners. He didn’t even give Felix a spare second to let the prickle of the nerves ghosting beneath his skin take hold. Because as soon as the question left Felix’s lips, Chan is leaning over their table.
“I was waiting, love.”
Or: Felix meets Chan—a self-proclaimed “nice guy who just has a lot of money”—on Refined Sugar, an app that lets sugar daddies search for potential babies from the comfort of their phones. Listen. The whole vigilante thing wasn’t Donghyuck’s idea, it was Mark’s. Donghyuck only agreed because he’s absolutely in love with him, and maybe because he was a little bored with smashing windows and jumping off of rooftops.
Saving their city also wasn’t his idea, but Donghyuck’s learning that very little is actually in his control when it comes to Mark.
(or: Mark Lee dies twice, and nine months later, he and Donghyuck unfortunately find the fate of the city resting on their shoulders).
