Summary
Our heroes have triumphed! They found the Everlasting Sapling! Explored every inch of Bugaria (which is quite significant at their size)! Rekindled alliances between disparate kingdoms! Completed every quest any resident asked of them no matter how inconsequential! Located every crystal berry. Libraries are fully stocked, termacade high scores are cleared, all worms have been fished… Even every dish has been cooked and eaten… Uh, they also did some other things that got them some nice trophies for their house, but weren’t all that worth mentioning and were kinda tedious… Wow, was there really nothing else to do for a trio of brave adventurers?
However on the horizon is a new threat greater than any Team Snakemouth has faced before: doing too good of a job, and the consequences of solving everyone's immediate problems.
With the question of “is the association even needed anymore?” weighing above their heads, Kabbu, Vi and Leif will need to act as Royal Blades rather than just as a team to understand both their place and the future of exploration in Bugaria!

Isabeau once joked that if he ever needed to get away with murder, he would make sure to ask Odile for help.
She didn’t mind the joke, in fact she tried to play into it. She was more ruthless than the others, scarier, and it was for the best to keep that comparison humorous. To limit her terrifying side to chilly glares and threats of spicy food. It stopped the others from dwelling on it long enough to ask questions, which in turn helped her keep certain things buried in the past.
Then Siffrin knocked on her door in the middle of the night and asked her for just such assistance. Suddenly it wasn’t a joke anymore.

Octavia Vale had a problem. For her entire life, pokemon have reacted to her presence with unease at best, and outright hostility at worst. To them, she seemed to exist in the Uncanny Valley, something about her just subtly "off" in an unidentifiable way. She wanted nothing more than to have the opportunity to travel and befriend pokemon like anyone else, but it was never safe to do so. This was not a problem shared by Taylor, her identical twin. Octavia was sure that if she could just figure out what the difference between them was, then she could fix it and finally follow her dreams.
Unfortunately for both of them, she did. The difference was that Octavia wasn't human. She never had been.
Octavia Vale was an Imposter. A Ditto that had transformed into a perfect copy of Taylor as an infant and never changed back. A Ditto who could mimic the human form and had learned human speech to a degree almost unheard of for its species. A Ditto that no shortage of criminal enterprises would pay any price to capture and exploit.
Taylor Vale never wanted to be a trainer, but to protect her inhuman sister, she was willing to try anything. Even if it meant capturing and training Octavia herself.
