Damian is falling, all he can remember is falling, he cannot remember a time he wasn't falling. Or maybe he can and he can't stop the constant feeling of falling, weightlessness, and the wind hitting his skin in an almost painful motion.
He does not know what his inscription upon a tombstone will be, his epitaph.
He does not know who will mourn him or who will be there after.
He knows this for a fact: There is nobody there to catch him when he falls.He is doomed to constantly fall and never be caught.

He risked another look at its green eyes, it reminded him of something, maybe his own eyes, green and full of fear. Hiccup didn’t believe it was even scared at all.
He was so sure it didn’t even care. That’s what animals did once they realized they were caught, they don’t care anymore about what happens because this is the end. They go limp, they await for it to end.

Izuku is gifted with an odd quirk of sharp claws and glowing eyes- a target for cruel words and harsh phrases. Freak. Useless.
For years, he longed for his power to one day evolve and strengthen- no longer wanting to be considered the useless freak no matter where he stood. Wanting to be more than something people sneered or raised a brow at.
Only when his quirk suddenly bursts into something of pure horror, something more than the word freak, Izuku wishes he swallowed those words.
Four year old Izuku feared the beasts bellow his mattress. He feared the monsters his mother tried to say didn’t exist.

To one Underground Hero, though, Datastream is better known as Midoriya Izuku, Aizawa Shouta's nephew.

The only thing stopping Scaramouche from bursting into laughter was a glare from Signora, whose fingernails were biting into her palms with such force as to break the skin. Capitano actually let out a chuckle before covering his mouth and then Dottore’s, who would have bitten him if his mask allowed it. Sandrone looked ready to blow a gasket, which as always his dog ears flapping ruined the intimidation that might have caused, and Pantalone next to him looked as unaffected as ever. And Colombina… well it was hard to tell if she just didn’t care or was actually seething. Probably somewhere in the middle. Pierro was very proud of his fellow harbingers.
Childe thought the most challenging part of being the Tsaritsa's Vanguard was going to be the eventual rebellion against Celestia where they were all likely going to be decimated. However, somehow navigating his relationships with his fellow Harbingers was a worse minefield, yet a path he wanted to walk all the same.
