Summary
Bigfoot isn’t real. Any hunter worth his salt knows that. And neither is the yeti. So Dean is understandably skeptical when Sam insists there’s an abominable snowman loose at a ski lodge the weekend before Christmas.
Before Dean knows what’s happened, he’s stuck in some cutesy winter resort with Cas pretending to be his fiance. Sam’s off on some secret romp of his own, none of the leads make a lick of sense, and every crazy couple in the place is just as interested in solving the mystery as Dean and Cas are.

Summary
Sam and Jess are getting married and Dean couldn’t be any happier for them. Honestly, they’re kind of disgustingly perfect for each other and Dean’s pretty damn excited about staying with them the week before the wedding. He’s Sam’s best man, of course, and he doesn’t even mind that Jess has her own best man to share in all the organisational duties. The more the merrier, right?
Except Dean must have done something to epically piss off the universe because Jess’s best man just happens to be Castiel friggin’ Novak. He’s got even hotter since High School, but apparently no friendlier and if Cas wants to spend the week pretending like they’ve never met before? Fine. Two can play at that game.

I have no idea how this happened. I'd legitimately been trying to write spec based on the promo photos, and this is the result. This is the moment it went off the rails right here:
And now I’m imagining this scenario at a bar later that night, where Sam, Dean, and Cas somehow miraculously manage to get out of the cage relatively unscathed (yes, this is the point where this post veers from speculation into fanfic territory).
Once again, I've been unable to resist making it a destiel thing (if you squint), because of who I am as a person.

Summary
Dean had already sacrificed so much for Sam, including damaging his friendship with Cas, asking him to leave the bunker. If he had done so for Sam then why would he not do the same for Cas? Threats to their lives are not welcome in the bunker, nor were threats to their family unit.

Summary
Look, S12 had a few good moments, but narratively, it was the weakest season of SPN there has ever been. I do not say that lightly; I have been watching this show since it started airing, I've been a dedicated fan for more than half my life.
I hated last season. It was badly written, no one was in character, and the finale was terrible. I can't believe season 12 made it to air. I wrote this, because I can't stand the thought of not addressing that.
Actual summary: Immediately after the S12 finale, Chuck and Amara realise how terrible of an idea it was to bring Mary back. How will Dean cope, having to relive a whole year? Can he finally allow himself to have something he wants, knowing he might lose it at any time?

Things are going well for Dean: he's landed the biggest design job of his architectural career and is about to get final approval on the project despite how difficult the development company, personified by Castiel Novak, has made it. It's not bad for a moody omega...except things are also going terribly for Dean because he has to get in a plane and fly to a meeting, and course ends up in heat a few hours before. Luckily, Castiel is there to help and both men discover the good that can come when nothing goes quite as intended.

What seemed like a milk run hunt goes pear-shaped when Dean becomes the latest victim of a soul-devouring curse. Breaking the curse and saving his life only lead to a bigger mystery when someone unexpected steps out of the Impala and walks right into the middle of their case.

Summary
Dean is a grown-ass man - he can take perfectly good care of himself, thank you very much. Except that sometimes the easier or more fun choices aren't always the right or best ones, and, all right, maybe thinking ahead and working the long game isn't his strongest suit. It's fine! He's fine.
When he meets Castiel, he realizes that flying by the seat of his pants may not be the best way to attract the super-serious (gorgeous, funny, genius) Alpha. Dean's shrink has been telling him he needs to start making "grown-up choices," and if that's what he has to think about in order to make Cas fall for him, then he'll give it a whirl.
