“Sorry, Sherlock, but I need to have a look at you.”
Sherlock kicked off his own cover and flopped onto his back, clearly annoyed. “Yes, clearly my priority should be to satisfy your curiosity.”
John sat on the edge of Sherlock’s bed. Patiently, he waited for Sherlock to accept his presence.
Finally, Sherlock dragged a hand through his hair and flopped his arm over his head. “Fine. Examine me.”

Summary
For the prompt:
John almost dies because Sherlock runs off with John after a killer without first informing Lestrade where they where going and why. A guilt ridden Sherlock who is not use to caring and is a having a hard time dealing with feeling guilt for the first time in his life, ask John to take charge. Sherlock agrees not to do anything without Johns approval and to do whatever John tells him to.
Not knowing how long this will last, John takes the opportunity to make sure Sherlock takes care of himself and to teach him some basic social skills/manners. Sherlock rebels but he did promise and a promise is a promise.

In Chapter 55 of “Minutiae (Or 156 Things I Know About You)”, the justly celebrated Atlinmerrick stated that John writes porny limericks on bathroom walls, thusly:
"John Watson has perfect eyesight. This has contributed to his marksman's aim, careful physician's gaze, and to his ability to write in tiny text a pornographic limerick in the gent's by Lestrade's office. John did this to see if Sherlock—who always reads the scrawl on the walls in public loos—would finally admit that he needs glasses. John waited three days, writing more limericks in progressively smaller text, but Sherlock did not make any squint-eyed admissions. Thank god a few days later a suspect threw her briefcase, heels, and spectacles at Sherlock as she ran off, or John probably would have himself soon needed glasses to write those wee lewd limericks. Be that as it may, the suspect's rescued glasses perfectly suited both Sherlock's looks (heavy dark frames) and his far-sightedness. And the now-readable limericks apparently suited his libido, as John found out later."

On 01/02/2018 my external hard drive, full of stories, art and images, stopped working. I have yet to get it recovered. It will cost me around £200+ which I can't spend, that's if they can recover anything at all as things might be lost for good.
Unfortunately this means such stories stored on there, which includes this one, can't be edited or finished until I know for definite.
If it can be fixed and I get the money to do it, things will be updated, if not, they will be deleted.
