Liu Qingge just stares at him in shock.
Shen Qingqiu’s question is answered when he suddenly hears Liu Qingge’s voice. Liu Qingge isn’t speaking, though—his mouth never moves. No, Shen Qingqiu is hearing Liu Qingge’s voice inside his head.
Liu Qingge’s voice says, “Holy shit. I can see his nipples.”
They both stare at each other in horror. At that moment, there’s a happy little ding and a System notification pops up in front of him.

Basically, LQG gets transmigrated into a dogblood drama (the "dog-biting-dog" style melodramatic soap operas, hence "dogblood"), but just wants to cultivate and live happily with SY. If only these damn characters would get a hint and stop trying to drag him back into the plot!
Meanwhile, after being forcefully repatriated, SY uses all his superpowers as an avid trashy web-novel reader to try to predict what will happen and protect LQG from all the shitty tropes while also dealing with the realization that there’s been cultivation in the modern world this whole time!Not to mention the familiar-but-different faces popping up here and there…

Summary
This was originally intended to be crack but then I spent too much time overthinking it and now it's more of a modern AU.
After Gods and Ghosts die in one way or another, they are all reborn into the same alternative reality as regular human beings. Now some people think that's pretty chill and they focus on living a happy life, like Hua Cheng and Xie Lian for example.
Other people have a more pessimistic outlook. The vast majority of them wants to fix the things they fucked up in the other life. Surprise surprise, that's actually quite hard to do.aka the fic where I take a shot and then add whatever plotline I feel like adding.
