The book falls onto his chest abandoned, his focus all but shot now, and he pushes his hands against his face with a groan, head pressing back into his pillow in exasperation.
“I fucking hate you, Takami.”

"Hawks," The President greets him and the hero gives her a dramatized bow, making her frown at him. He smiles.
"President," He responds as he rises, his wings curling in on himself automatically. "What can I do for you, ma'am? Let me say, it really is an honor that you are allowing-"
The President growls low in her throat and he shuts up.
"None of that now," She says very calmly despite her anger fueling inside her. "We need you to find the Butterfly Killer and gain his trust."
Hawks blinks in confusion and tilts his head.
"Are we working with him now or...?"
The President smiles, but it is far from pleasant, and she intertwines her fingers together and rests her chin on the top of her hand.
"No, you are to gain his trust, and kill him."
[OR: Hawks is tasked with finding the Butterfly Killer and killing him, Hawks agrees. After all, he can't really say no to the President of the Commission.
But, when Hawks meets the Butterfly Killer, he sees the man for what he really is and Hawks realizes he isn't a monster at all. He then begins to question Hero Society and what it stands for, which leads to troubles with his friends, coworkers, and his boss]

I think that was the most beautiful story I have ever read that had any elements of Harry Potter in it. The way that Keigo and Touya are main characters and yet still written as side characters when faced with true evil and STILL get that happy ending-

One this was for sure though and that was that no one knew exactly what he was doing, which is exactly what the commission wanted.

For the first time in his life, Dabi can look around the room of the people who have the privilege of calling him by his name and say that he enjoys their company. He enjoys being able to give off heat for Spinner, enjoys letting Toga happily put silly pins in his hair, he enjoys making soba for his little brother that comes on the weekends. He enjoys looking to his lover, his Keigo, and seeing him giving in to all his bird instincts.
Dabi can admit, to himself at least, that he enjoys being fussed over by Kuroguri or Compress, enjoys snatching new games for Tenko, enjoys getting his hands on some money, and giving Keigo a blanket that is fluffy and warm.
