In a post incident world, most people have come together to rebuild a new and better world. The age of Innocent adoration of Superheroes is over and this new era is plagued with suspicion and regulation. Many accept the new status quo but for others the idea of submitting to chains for the comfort of others is an impossible ask. just as many Hero's see this as a new golden age, many villains see this new era as a stage set just for them.
Kaylie always adored superhero's growing up through the incident did nothing at all to tarnish that love so when her own powers manifest she's eager to join her idols. At least until a chance encounter pushes her down a different path.

Oh not the kind that makes cheesy speeches and battles superheros over some Saturday morning cartoon plot. No She's the kind of super villain that's holding millions of lives hostage. She's feared, she's hated, shes been called a monster and a natural disaster. But most of all, she's exhausted. She didn't want any of this, she didn't want to be a figurehead, a queen of the ill repute. She wracked with guilt and self loathing and she's finally decided its time to do something about it.
So this is a side story to go along with my story Silhouette on the Horizon, since that one doesn't delve to much into the world building or many side characters these shorter side stories will be doing that heavy lifting.
