Upon being taken into protective custody by the French Aurors, the two teens await their parents. When Scorpius's father and his husband, Theo Nott, arrive they are shocked to see Hermione picking up her daughter.
The pieces are put together, and quickly the wizards realise that Hermione isn't as dead as they had thought she was, and when she'd left England, she'd taken something of Draco's with her.
