“Why are you so focused on this guy?” Asked his sister, around a mouthful of tilapia, as he relayed his plans to the (virtual) dinner table again. “Is he like—cool, or anything?”
This, Kuugo decided, was a good question, and one that he pondered as he went to bed. Why did he care about this guy? He wasn’t particularly cool—well, he kind of had a mystery factor going on, because nobody knew where he came from, or what was up, or why he was allowed to violate school dress code—but there were plenty of people in the class who were interesting. There was something about Hakamata, though, that Kuugo knew he shared. He just didn’t really know what yet. He relayed that to Nagi, and she snorted.
“Sure,” she said, in that knowing, older-sister tone. “If that’s what we’re calling it.”

A girl came on stage. Her skin was gray, and her hair was black, and beautiful was a subjective word but Bonnie hadn’t ever seen anything as beautiful as she was, and she didn’t think she ever would.
She opened her mouth, and fangs— (’fangs!’ thought the still-functioning part of her brain. ‘I should ask her about that!) — peeked through as she began to sing. The lyrics— she should be paying attention to the lyrics— faded away. Torn between keeping her eyes open to watch her sing, and closing it to experience— which was better?

Summary
Sokka moved as though through aspic, pulling up a new search tab, punching in the princess’ name, then hitting the News tab; the headlines blaring, MAMMA M.I.A.: PRINCESS MISSING IN ROME.
There were photos of the princess too. With shaking fingers Sokka zoomed in on the image, squinted, then held it up beside her sleeping guest. In the photo she was sunlit, smiling politely, the long hair bundled into a glossy chignon and arranged to hide most of the scar. But it was unmistakably there.
The missing princess was in Sokka’s bed.
Sokka, a slacker journalist sojourning in Rome, wakes up to find a runaway foreign princess in her bed. Desperate to save her own skin at work, Sokka becomes the princess's tour guide for a day to put a scoop together on her. Princess Zuko, however, has her own agenda...
