Sokka moved as though through aspic, pulling up a new search tab, punching in the princess’ name, then hitting the News tab; the headlines blaring, MAMMA M.I.A.: PRINCESS MISSING IN ROME.
There were photos of the princess too. With shaking fingers Sokka zoomed in on the image, squinted, then held it up beside her sleeping guest. In the photo she was sunlit, smiling politely, the long hair bundled into a glossy chignon and arranged to hide most of the scar. But it was unmistakably there.
The missing princess was in Sokka’s bed.
