Chifuyu felt giddy, he loved seeing the all black smoke slotted elegantly between Baji’s thin fingers, he adored seeing the cherry glow brightly as Baji slid his eyes shut while savoring the flavor, illuminating his most handsome features. He craved the intimacy of being close to Baji as he smoked so leisurely, he was addicted to the feeling of smoke being exhaled onto his face, also savoring the hint of vanilla and caramel in Baji’s Black Devil Special Flavor cigarettes.
In other words, Chifuyu has a huge crush on his captain and after a drunken tryst that has him regretful the next morning, Chifuyu decides to try his best to make it up to Baji...Who thinks he's the one who needs to apologize, per usual.

Summary
Chifuyu thought ten years and a world away would cure his heartbreak and force him to forget the memories of his youth. However, those memories flood back when he visits his ailing mother in Tokyo. He plans for a quick visit and an escape back to the United States, but sudden bad news leaves him reeling and those plans dashed. Now, stuck in Japan for the foreseeable future, he tries his best to avoid his old flame until he can get on a plane back to New York City. Despite his plans, a misstep into a local pet shop sends him face to face with the one person who he would rather not see again.

Summary
Merlin was part way through his degree in medicine when war broke out in 1914. Not meeting the criteria to join up he became a doctor for the soldiers with injuries severe enough to be sent home with little hope—the stately home he inherited from his late uncle Gaius serving as a hospital. It’s here he meets a grievously wounded Arthur Pendragon whose scars are not all physical. As Arthur heals bit by bit in both mind and body, learning to walk on his prosthetic leg and all the frustration that comes with it, Merlin sees the good, the bad, and the downright ugly sides of him. Despite this—or perhaps because of it—they grow closer.

Summary
There was a time, not so long ago, when Arthur would have said that Merlin is… maybe not weak per se, but certainly not strong. He's an untrained peasant, after all, unused to the rigorous training of the sword and shield, the weight of chainmail and plated armour, the endurance built by sustained battle. He doesn’t have the obvious bulk of a knight, nor the keen reflexes lacing his muscles. He’s… well, yes, Arthur supposes he would have thought Merlin weak.
On his honour, he will never call Merlin weak after tonight.
