“Hey,” Roy’s voice is a bit muffled through the bathroom door, “I’ve got some clothes out here for you.”
“Oh. One sec.” Jason quickly wraps the towel around his waist and moves to the door.
When he opens it, Roy’s eyes go wide with shock, and his mouth falls open. Jason struggles to hold back his smile as he taps the bottom of Roy’s chin closed again.
“C’mon Roy, you’re not a fish.”
“I—you—Jaybird.”

Roy says, “He’s straight,” at the same time as Dick says “He’s getting felt up by a socialite.”
Roy turns around faster than he’s ever turned around in his life. And yep. Dick was right. A thin ginger woman is leaning very close to him at the tall table he’s at, a hand pressed into his chest, rubbing up and down. And… Jason is smiling. One of his real smiles, not that stupid fake one he uses. This… this isn’t good. This isn’t okay. This isn’t right.
Roy is going to throw up.

Summary
The first couple of dollars that the machine ate up without remorse were an annoyance, something that made Dennis sigh and unzip his wallet without thinking about it to try again. By the time that the vending machine had eaten seven whole dollars, in coins, and Dennis didn’t have anything to show for it, he was close to thumping his forehead against the cool glass and hoping he could derive some sort of enjoyment or nourishment from simply just looking at the colourful packages as they remained firmly in their coils.
He didn’t often carry coins. Those were his last few dollars and he was woefully aware that somebody had offhandedly mentioned that the staffroom vending machine destroyed notes, so he wasn’t going to be getting a soda, a bag of chips or anything else that might settle his belly from the incessant grumbling it was doing.

This is… it’s fucking nice, is what it is. It feels easy in a way that Jake never would have expected it to. It’s gotta be because they’re going back to their normal lives tomorrow, no pressure of having to see each other every day to make it awkward. A decent amount of mutual attraction helps, too.
