Summary
Parrot circles a random, scribbled note about a supposed connection to a weird portal in the nether. It’s the fifth time he’s looked at this note and the fifth time it leads to nothing. He knows it’s likely a wild goose chase, just like the other thirty leads he’s fruitlessly followed in the past week. But still, the thought of finding something, ANYTHING, keeps him going. The alternative is sinking, drowning in the grief he refuses to acknowledge.
Better to chase a ghost than face the reality that the only person he ever really cared about is gone. Because of him.

He practically storms away, leather material scraping off with each footfall as he turns towards the plethora of bars and buffet stands set up to the left of the dance circle.
“Happy birthday,” comes the same unmistakable voice grinding Bacon’s teeth together. Zam doesn’t follow him, a sly smirk settling on his features before he disappears back into the crowd.

discontinued until further notice, I can’t write anymore because I began to hate my writing and I just don’t find it fun anymore, sorry for those waiting for an update
Sometimes, exploring an ancient temple just because the King ordered you to do so along with a bunch of other high ranked soldiers from the royal army is not the best course of action. Maybe your teammates won’t survive, maybe you somehow aren’t the only person coming out of that temple even though you’re the only survivor.
Ah who cares! Wemmbu doesn’t for sure, as a famed mercenary that proclaims he’s able to successfully clear any commission handed to him at a right price, how could he NOT go in and explore?
Many reasons actually, people have died there trying to find treasure. Plenty, in fact most of them all never returned. That’s okay, Wemmbu’s confident in his combat skills, nothing will stand in his way of unveiling the secrets of this place.

Spoke wasn’t going to get used to this. He’d seen that stupid, half-obscured face of Ash too many times, and still the sight of the man sent shivers down his spine.
The glitching covering one of his eyes crackled pleasantly at the sight of the pile of elytra on the ground, and the lips of the man they’d been trying to get close to curled into a grin, revealing the row of sharpened teeth underneath.
Proud. He looked proud.

Pride warmed Spoke’s chest. Immediately after, shame made him bow his head. What was he doing, taking those words to his heart?
“You worked harder than the others to get the trims and the mace. You deserve them.”
Or, an alternate universe where Spoke becomes a diamond player among the mafia’s ranks, and Ash shows his favouritism towards him too obviously.
