Summary
"Let's start making it happen." As soon as those words fell out of Schlatt's mouth, a bright light nearly blinded everyone as well as the sound of a portal's unnatural hum.
When the light died down and everyone got their vision back, a portal, structured like a Nether Portal but built out of metal and stone, glowing silver, stood right between and before the stage and the audience. They were stunned as a figure came out of said portal, tall, decked out in full enchanted netherite. A man with a familiar mask but unfamiliar clothes stood.
"Where's Dream?" The man with the red hood, wearing Dream's mask immediately asked.
Before anyone could even react or answer, the portal behind him flared brightly and the man jumped away with an annoyed grunt as another man decked in netherite tumbled out of the silver glowing portal. Wild dark hair, dark blue eyes, burnt scars underneath his chin-
"Tubbo?" Tommy muttered in surprise, somehow recognizing him as his best friend.
"Tommy!" The older Tubbo screamed, but not at Tommy who stood beside Wilbur. But at the masked man with the red hood.
Two broken men stay in the past in hopes of a better future.

Tommy's running around trying to get into contact with his friends after years of no contact, finally giving up and just trying to survive in the radiation and cold with Walter. It's the apocalypse. People aren't just kind anymore. He needs to live.
For Walter, as he holds the loaded gun up. For myself, as he runs with the bag of food. for- for them, he thinks as he shivers, waiting for hope.On the other side of the world is Sapnap thinking his world has turned upside down. He was just hanging with his friends when the sirens went off, the news started broadcasting, and the crowds went wild with panic. He lost them all in that first initial rush- dream, George, everyone visiting. He doesn't even know if they lived, and he's just with this other group for now.
For now he says as he raids other people. Just to survive he says as he forces someone else to hand over their gas mask filter. until I can find them all, he mutters as he attempts to bandage yet another wound the group lead inflicts for talking backHe misses his friends. His family. He hopes they survived, because he's holding on for them.
