Barry traveling back in time prevented Joe's kidnapping, and the tsunami, and Iris confessing her no longer shared feelings. And theoretically everything should be fine...but when is everything ever fine with Barry?

But now…now it was different. Technoblade had made sure of that. The piglin hybrid had practically raised Dream up from the ground. He had taken the broken pieces and repaired them. It wasn’t a fast process. It was tedious and ugly, but he had managed to make Dream feel whole again. He was the only person to ever make Dream feel whole. After months of torment and neglect and torture, all he had to do was strut in to make Dream feel like he wasn’t alone. That was why, when Dream opened his eyes, he wasn’t scared of a hit or a punch. He wasn't worried that someone would be pointing those god awful shears at his face. When Dream opened his eyes and came face to face with concerned red ones, he wasn’t scared. He felt at home.
Or, Dream and Technoblade living life inside of a cell, but they have each other.

With his mind still clouded and tears streaming down his cheeks, Dream tilted his head to the side slightly, ignoring the rush of nausea that flooded through him. Far across the valley of death, a singular rose sat, surrounded by fire.
