Volume 8 Weiss gets thrown back in time to Beacon. She witnesses her younger self brutally reject Jaune Arc in the hallway. She does what any reasonable person would do: drag her past self into a closet, slap her, and explain in graphic detail why she needs to lock that boy down immediately. Vol2 Weiss was not prepared for the family planning portion of this conversation.

Summary
The Ever After left its mark on all of them but none more so than Jaune Arc. He carries himself like nothing is amiss, but Weiss knows that he carries a great pain with him. The remnants of the Rusted Knight cling to him, and she wants nothing more than to show him he isn't alone.
