Kurt sat near a window that was clouded in darkness, where the sun couldn't reach, and enjoyed the fan’s breeze, nearly purring in relief from where he was crouched in front of it. When his tail, which was swaying behind him, gently tapped a strong bicep, a whine threatened to escape him. If he was told to move, he was going to bite someone's hand off.
He calmly stood up and turned around, taking a single step forward to attack the person, before crashing into a very muscular wall.
Wait, walls aren't muscular. It's just Logan and his shirtless chest. Which Kurt's face was currently buried in.

Too fucking many, Wade thinks. The table is cool against his skin, and the fork embedded in his hand throbs with a pulsing heat. He thinks he might just stay here for a while, see how the universe kills him like this. Knowing his luck, someone would walk right up and take Logan’s head off, and then he’d have to watch him die, again.
Wade loves movies that fuck with time – Days of Future Past is genuinely his favourite X-Men film – but God did it fucking suck to live through one.
