Summary
Pale fingers tugged at the other's cap brim, pulling it off when their shins hit the bed. The smile — moistened with cocoa butter, the resort's exclusive product — never left his face, and Kurogane was glad for it. It was good to see Fay with that kind of smile, face tanned by the sun, arms firmer and stronger from good nutrition. Besides looking completely human and healthy, he was even more beautiful like this — cradled by the salt and sand, by the natural sweat, in the sincere heat.

They had seen each other just a few hours earlier, but right now it felt like days ago. Something about looking at Xeno through the scope heightened the slightly aroused feeling Stanley already had. It felt dangerous, but Xeno seemed unshaken, even though he was fully aware there was a loaded rifle aimed at him right now. He just kept his gaze at him. Sipped his drink calmly. Blinked slowly and tilted his head slightly.
