Taking the fantastical parts out of Trails/Kiseki won't be everyone's cup of tea, but I personally found it very interesting. Only reason it's not a rec is its semi-niche premise, which can turn off many.
Still, don't knock it 'till you try it; you never know if you'll like it or not.

Through her decade of service, only one thing has ever remained consistent. Eda knows, and understands, far too much about how the world keeps spinning. She hates it. All of it. There is no 'greater good', and no matter how maliciously she is mocked there is nothing she can do to change a single thing of what she can so plainly see with her own two eyes.
She can, however, tell the world to fuck off and leave her alone.

Amazing Eda POV fic, with plenty of characterization. Refuses to shy away from the hard topics (like biphobia, as mentioned in tags). Author put his soul into it, and I refuse to let it be obscure. Also, amazing Revy and Roberta.
A must for every Black Lagoon enjoyer.
